What makes your city a favorite gay destination?

London is an amazing city. It's multi-cultural, open-minded city and a place where everybody is welcome. Its gay nightlife is one of the world’s best. There are plenty of nice bars where you can go during the day and at night! 

 

What's the best gay event that takes place in your city?

The Sink the Pink balls are a lot of fun. I always recommend my guests to go if any event happens while they're in town. 

 

What's your favorite gay establishment to grab a bite for lunch? A nice dinner?

Bocca di lupo in Soho is definitely one of my favourites and I feel like you should try it out. 

 

Best gay bar for a cheap beer?

Most bars in Soho have a happy hour if you go before 19:00pm on a daily basis. 

 

Best gay bar for a refreshing cocktail?

New Bloomsbury Set in Kings Cross. 

 

Ready to go dancing... what's the best gay dance club?

XXL, a male only venue (Saturday), when it first started off it was predominantly a club for bears, over the years it has grown in popularity and has become more diverse and popular with all. It’s a large venue under the arches in Blackfriars, with two dance floors; one pop, the other dance.

 

Which gay bar offers the best happy hour on a Wednesday?

Rupert Street Bar in Soho, they do two cocktails for £12 or a bottle of Champagne for £25. 

 

Where to start a gay tour in your home city?

Soho.

 

Best place to socialize with the local gay community?

The Queen Adelaide and The Glory in Hackney, a pub / club that is popular with the Gay East London locals. The Bridge bar in South London.

 

How gay-friendly is your home city?

Totally gay friendly, I have lived in London for my whole life and have never experienced any trouble! You can be who you want, when you want, where you want and it is just accepted.

 

A gay place for brunch on weekends?

I went to 100 Wardour Street recently and loved it, they have a bottomless brunch!

 

What are your favourite gay venues in London?

Two Brewers, the Yard and Heaven.
