Oslo is, generally speaking, liberal towards the gay community and has an open and lively gay scene. Most gay clubs and cafes are in the same area and you can jump from one to the other in just a couple of hours.

Oslo Gay Pride, which takes place every summer. In 2017, Oslo Gay Pride will take place from the 23d of June to the 2nd of July.

Elsker is a good lunch café, but also a nice place to go for dinner or for a drink in the evening. Varied menu with everything from sandwiches to a real dinner. The kitchen is open until 9.30 pm every night.
