Of all the cities I’ve visited, Vancouver is one of the most beautiful with its ocean views, mountain backdrop, fresh air and green year round. There are hiking trails mountains to climb, beaches to lay at, ski hills close by, and many other outdoor activities for you to enjoy.  Very diverse and Gay friendly communities. Vancouver has been one of the most progressive cities that has established equal rights for all citizens, including same sex marriage, which was legalized in July 2003. There are multiple events and clubs year round to visit while your here. If your into pop up parties, underwear parties, leather parties, bear parties, after hours parties or just want to dance, you’ll always find your scene.

What is the best gay event that happens in Vancouver?

There are many events that happen or even just pop up in Vancouver. Pride is one of our best events but there are many parties throughout the year. Year round, There is always something fun to join. Vancouver is all about the backdoor parties, warehouse parties, beach parties, BBQ’s and theme parties.

What is your favorite gay establishment to grab a bite for lunch?

Fountainhead Pub is one of the best places for people watching cute servers and meeting new friends.

Best Gay bar for cheap beer?

Cheap beer is always available during happy hour at most places.

Best gay bar for a refreshing cocktail?

1181 lounge on Davie is one of the best starting off points. Hot bartenders great music with amazing DJ’s are sure to get your night started.

Ready to go Dancing, what is the best gay dance club?

There are multiple places to dance in Vancouver. XY nightclub is the newest and most modern gay club that offers hot bartenders and drag shows. Junction is where you’ll find a younger crowd but plays amazing top 40 music. Pumpjack has an older mixed crowd with shows all every weekend! Numbers is a three level club with different music on each level and karaoke, and pool tables on the third floor. There are also multiple pop up clubs in the city that gay only.

Davie Street! just go to a starbucks or local gay cafe on Davie to meet locals. Be friendly and you’ll meet lots of new friends.

Davie Street! Just go for a walk down Davie, stop in for a coffee or drink anywhere, you are bound to make new friends.

How gay friendly is Vancouver?

Vancouver is one of the most gay friendly cities I’ve known. You can walk down the street hand in hand with your man without an issue. Vancouver is diverse and a forward thinking city that does not like prejudice or discrimination against anyone.

Score on Davie is a great place for brunch, Amazing Caesars and cheap eats. 

What is gay like in Vancouver?

Gay life is amazing here in Vancouver. Lots of events and places to go. You’ll feel comfortable and part of an Amazing community.

What are your favorite Venues in Vancouver?

I love going out for brunch on the weekends, so you’ll prob find me at the Fountainhead or Score mid day then I enjoy Pumpjack in the evenings. But it always depends on the night and where it takes us.
