Our Halloween party, known as Wicked Manors is incredible. We shut down the streets and all the bars sell drinks on the sidewalks. There are costumes and dancing everywhere. Last year about 90.000 people showed up!
What is your favorite gay establishment to grab a bite for lunch? a nice dinner?
So many to choose from! My personal favorite is TeeJay sushi-thai, but the most popular is Rosie’s Bar and Grill.

Matty’s, a local favorite!

Hunter’s, especially on Fridays and Sundays. Village Pub is always a safe bet too.

For the under 30 crowd, it would be The Manor. For the rest of us, it is Hunter’s.

Ft Lauderdale, as a whole, is very gay-friendly. I love in the town of Wilton Manors, which is overwhelmingly gay. Our Mayor is gay, half of police are gay, my doctor is gay, my lawyer is gay, etc.. It can actually be a bit overwhelming.
A gay place for brunch on weekends?
Rosie’s! They are famous for their Sunday brunch and T-dance. Also, for something really different, Lipps Cabaret does a great Sunday Gospel Brunch (cross-dressing for Christ) that is too funny for words. And, the food and drinks are really good.

Hard to choose, but if I had to, I’d say Hunter’s. Friendly staff, hot crowd, and great drinks! Sunday’s Studio 54 party is the dance event of the week. Catering to a crowd that still knows all the words to ‘I Will Survive’.
