The long tradition of gay ski weeks first began at Aspen Gay Ski Week in 1977. Since then, the concept has flourished into an annual LGBTQ celebration, with almost 20 gay skiing and snowboarding events taking place in the world today. After all, what could be better than hurtling down the ski slopes by day, then getting wild on the dance floor at night? Not much we say. European Snow Pride - Tignes, FranceMarch 18 – 25, 2023 For one week in March, the charming ski resort of Tignes in the French Alps will come alive in rainbow for the annual European Snow Pride. Powered by SCRUFF, this will be the event’s ninth edition, and in keeping with local health guidelines, all events will take place under the strictest safety measures. A unique feature about European Snow Pride is its Pride Parade, which first took place during the event in 2015, and has been occurring every year since.
