Gay Vacation: Pride Tours by Holiday Pride

The "Pride Tours by Holiday Pride” are cultural group tours designed for an optimal and exclusive travel experience to some of the most extraordinary spots on this green planet, far away from mass tourism. Safe, non-judgemental holidays allowing you to be yourselves and fun and affordable cultural tours that not only enrich the lives of our travelers but also the ones of the local communities, create a meaningful and sustainable travel experience.

In 2016, Holidaypride will have four "Pride Tours". The first one will start on June 15, 2016. It’s a 13 day tour of Mexico, to discover the history, the Mexican culture, with visits to major Aztec, Zapotec and Mayan archaeological sites, to discover the indigenous populations and their lifestyle, and celebrate Pride in Mexico City!

The tour will start on the Riviera Maya, with the discovery of Playa del Carmen, the archaeological site of Chichen Itza, the cenotes and the city of Merida. On the 3rd day, you will discover Uxmal, an ancient Mayan city. After a night in Campeche, off to Palenque, one of the most impressive sites of the Mayan culture, in Chiapas.

After a relaxing day in the Biosphere Reserve of Agua Azul, you will spend two nights in San Cristobal de las Casas, at an altitude of 2,000 m. On the 8th day, you will stop at the archaeological site of Monte Alban (White Mountain), a great center of Zapotec ceremony, in Oaxaca (main picture).

The arrival in Mexico City, the largest city in the world, is scheduled on the 10th day, with visits of the National Museum of Anthropology, the Cathedral of Mexico and the National Palace. On June 26, you will enjoy a free day to take full advantage of the gay pride parade in Mexico City before a final party and taking off, back to Paris or Brussels.

Along the way, you will be hosted in gay friendly hotels. The tour is intended for gay travelers only, a group of at least 10 people, starting from Paris or Brussels, with a price starting from 2149 euros per person (full board). Single travelers who don’t feel confortable with usual and costly "single" supplement will enjoy the « room share » option offered by Holidaypride : you pay no single supplement and Holidaypride finds you a suitable roommate to share the room with during the tour.
