Bear Pride Belgium, october 6-9

For the sixth time in a row, Brussels will host all the European bears during Bear Pride Belgium to be held October 6-9.

Launched in 2011 with the election of Mr Bear, later known as the Bear Weekend, the Bear Pride is a mix of gay parties, sightseeing tours, sporting events and friendly dinners ! It also features the crowning of Mr Bear Belgium during the main party held in a beautiful venue in Brussels, the Vaudeville Theatre.

The theme for this 2016 Bear Pride Belgium was inspired by the 150th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between Belgium and Japan. The festivities start on October 6 at the Reserve and will continue until Sunday in various iconic places of Brussels gay life such as Station BXL, le Baroque, Stammbar, Boris Boy or the Sauna Oasis. Restaurants like Chez Rachel and Vivaqua also joined the event.

The Bear Pride Belgium promoters have also set up a partnership with the NH Collection Brussels Center hotel to ensure that all participants will benefit from special rates during this festive weekend. The hotel will also host a grand reception on its panoramic rooftop terrace, with the presentation of all the Mr Bear Belgium candidates.
