Summer 2014 gay events : the Pink Lake Festival

The Wörthersee Pink Lake Festival in Austria will end this 2014 gay summer with style. Lake Wörthersee is is located in the Austrian Alps, in the province of Carinthia. The festival takes place in various locations around the lake from 28 to 31 August. And don't be afraid of the weather, the region has a Mediterranean climate! So you can quietly top up your tan, breathing the fresh mountain air and swim in the turquoise waters of the lake. This is far more bucolic then massive gay events like in Barcelona, Mykonos or Sitges.

Residents and visitors can enjoy the many activities and parties that will be offered. They can relax and enjoy water sports and beach games at the Pink Lake Beach Club but also basking in the sun and relax before or after evenings. Body painting workshop will also be offered and of course music. And for the 2014 edition, the Pink Lake Boat will offer free rides to the Beach Club. On site you can also buy tickets for the parties.

Far from the explosive atmosphere of big cities, Pink Lake is a pretty relaxed event, suitable for meeting new people and socializing. In the evening the atmosphere is much hotter with many parties proposed. Festival goers will be welcomed at the Almdudler Costume Party, the Casino Night Club and the TROJKA Boat Cruise Party, on a ship that will make a memorable night in the middle of the lake.

This event now crosses borders of Conchita Wurst’s country, since visitors from many European countries, including Germany, the UK, Slovenia, Italy, Switzerland and France are expected.
